Hitachi Bath Tub Challenge

Congratulations to Adrian Dare and Craig Moroni who won the Hitachi Bath Tub Challenge at Milton Keynes representing Instalec. Three teams comprising of builders, plumbers and electricians were set the task of designing & building a go-cart comprising of a bath tub and old bike parts and powered by battery drills. A full report will appear in Professional Electrician magazine next month but is unlikely to mention that the builders team cart fell apart during trials and the plumbers team vehicle only managed two laps of the course. Our boys managed to build a vehicle that achieved five and half laps to the course before the drills gave out. Well done to them and expect that Chris Evans is likely to call them for and interview on the first edition of TOP GEAR!
